Health and Safety

At Elmton Services, Health & Safety is one of our highest priorities and we work very closely with our Health & Safety consultants & co-ordinators to ensure our staff and others on our site/s or the Projects we are working on are Safe and at the lowest possible risk that we feel we can offer with the equipment and methods, we use and implement.

Our internal Team and our retained Health & Safety consultants & coordinators will carry out all the relevant Risk assessments and Task-Specific Method Statements to protect your employees and ours, as well as site visitors, members of the public, and other contractors.

Our Health & Safety consultants & co-ordinators are retained and we work very closely with them to ensure we are at the forefront of all aspects of Health and Safety to ensure we act and implement this in the correct manner in a safe and productive way, as a “Safe Site is a Happy and Productive Site”.

We have and can also act as the Principal Contractor/Main Contractor and/or Planning Coordinator where Construction (Design and Management) Regulations apply. We hold Relevant SSIP (Safety Schemes In Procurement) Accreditations in the form of CHAS and Constructionline.

We can assist our clients with any of their Health & Safety issues or constraints of concern/s they may have or come across as we know not all projects are straightforward or the same.

All of our site Engineers and Operatives have as a minimum the following Health and Safety Training and Accreditations:-

  • Working at Height
  • Confined Space
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Manual Handling
  • Abrasive Wheels
  • SSSTS – Site Supervisors only
  • SMSTS – Site Managers only
  • Lone Working
  • Fire Warden
  • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health
  • First Aid At Work
